Coffee hours

Coffee Hours are in-person gatherings held at international conferences, bringing women in eye health together to network, share experiences, and engage in meaningful discussions on leadership and gender equity

Advisory Council

Twice a year, the WLEH Advisory Council, composed of influential leaders across eye health and beyond, gathers virtually and in person to drive gender equity and leadership opportunities for women. These strategic events foster expert insights, collaboration, and action to shape the future of eye health.

Networking opportunities

WLEH continuously creates diverse networking opportunities to foster collaboration and professional growth for women in eye health. Through events at international conferences, women’s circles, and fellowship programs, we provide spaces for meaningful connections. These opportunities are regularly communicated through our official channels.

Previous awardees

The WLEH Professional Development Grant has empowered women in eye health by providing opportunities to attend key conferences, expand their networks, and amplify their voices in thought leadership.

"Over the years I've learned to speak truth to power without fear. Let us normalize speaking up against injustices for all minority groups"
